Nancy Kerrigan's Brother Back in Jail - The booze-hound brother of 1994 Olympic silver medalist Nancy Kerrigan is skating on thin ice as he awaits trial for killing their father — but this time, his lawyer says cough syrup is to blame for why he’s back behind bars.
Mark Kerrigan, 46, has been confined to his widowed mother’s Stoneham home with an electronic bracelet since being charged with manslaughter for 70-year-old Daniel Kerrigan’s Jan. 24, 2010, death.
The younger Kerrigan had his $25,000 cash bail revoked yesterday in Middlesex Superior Court. Judge Joseph M. Walker III found Kerrigan violated the no-alcohol condition of his probation by recording blood-alcohol levels late Saturday night of .035, .025., .036 and .029 over the span of a half-hour. The legal limit is .08.
